1st Annual New Mexico State 42 Championship

Game Play Rules:
• Straight 42 for all tournaments
• No Forced Bid
• Minimum Bid is 30
• Follow Me High is allowed
• Doubles may be called as Trump
• No Plunge, Nello, Sevens, or Splash


Tournament Format:
• All teams will receive a team number by random drawing.
• 7 Game Round Robin, 25 minute time limit.
• Championship qualifiers must win a minimum of 4 games.
• All teams not eligible for the championship tournament will compete in Consolation Tournament.
• Championship and Consolation tournaments will be single elimination, best 2 out of 3 games.
• Teams in single elimination rounds will be placed by random drawing.
• First, Second, and Third place finishers in Championship tourney shall receive a cash prize. Prizes will be determined based on number of entries. First place prizes will range from $100-$250 per player. Second place prizes will range from $50-$125 per player. Third place prizes will range from $20-$30 per player.
• First and Second place finishers in Consolation tourney shall receive a cash prize. Prizes will be determined based on number of entries. First place prizes will range from $50-$100 per player. Second place prizes will range from $20-$30 per player.
• Tournament funds will be used to pay for prizes, expenses, donation to the Texico Senior Citizens Organization for use of their equipment, purchase dominoes, tables, and supplies for future events.
